Used them on different Precision Basses, Condor, ESP, Squier, all fretless.

Sturdy construction, nice imitation cloth shielded. Fitting was a drop-in on my Precision special.

Noiseless, Passive with a neutral amplification of sound.

This is an OK pickup for fretless basses, gives you a steady natural sound, takes low-B easy, but maybe to "brave" or "flat", more suitable for fretted basses.

These are very good pickups, make your bass sound tight and uncolored, and I say again: noiseless Studio quality.

Shame they don't deliver pickups with the polepieces, for cosmetic/historic use. The plastic chrome "Select by EMG" logo looks a bit cheap. (google some), but is easily polished away (carwax), giving you the "EMG-look".
