I debated the sans amp RBI vs the B-max and the b max offered more for the money. It has an nice optical compressor, nice eqing, and a sonic maximizer. This unit has a very clean, quiet, hi-fi quality tone. I run it thru a Carvin DCM 1000 poweramp, into a GK 410 cab. Very nice unit - can't wait to record with it.
