I haven't taken the thing apart, but that's only because I've never needed to. It seems to be well built and I've dragged it to too many practices to count. You can get a wide variety of tones from it, though it does not have that booming bass or volume required for gigging. I use this for practice and my guitar-playing friends love to play through it when I plug into something bigger. I've never had any problem, whatsoever, from this rig. I could recommend it based on its reliability alone.
