I had always wanted to own an SVT and when I landed this one I did not have it hooked up right away. It just spent months in the basement under cover until I let a guy borrow it for a concert. It sounded so good, no one is allowed to plug it in besides myself ever again. This amp has all the power you would ever need and it has boost that really make windows shake, walls vibrate and your body tremble. This is the best thing since sliced bread as far as amps are concerned. I want it played at my funeral for one more earth shaking experience. Well, my point is you won't go wrong getting one so grab one if you can. I use a Crate 1/18 (200 watts) and Peavey 2/10 cab. It's great with my Fender Precisions (makes them sound active). The only downside is they are out of production and very hard to be serviced. The one that I have also makes noises sometimes and sometimes it shuts down so I have to smack it, but other than that it's sweeeet!!
