This bass is pretty kick ass. Looks sorta like a fender jazz body (only
bigger.. and more contoured). Real solid construction, good weight, nice
action, tighter-than-usual string spacing (from the narrower than full
width sixer type neck. It has dual truss rods. Plays great, sounds good..
but my tone knob buzzes a little. Didn't really need a set up.. just had
to tighten all the fittings when I bought it (looks like they were
installed lightly. The heel is rounded off making it real easy to get a
good handle on, also have access to all frets. Its got some punchy mids,
singing highs, and some shuddery lows. Slaps, pops n' taps like a dream.
The B string isn't floppy like some other basses. The dot inlays are
off-center and really small.. like smaller than your average bass inlays.
And other than those damn dots and the tone buzz this bass is one sweet
ride.
