This is a very versatile and usefull product. The guys at Boss were
thinking when they built this one. Like you'd expect and already know, it's
a tuner built in a pedal format. Chromatic, Guitar, and Bass settings w/
flat and double flat presets if you downtune. Of course the chromatic
setting is best for all. It also has 2 tuning options w/ stream/cent
options. I prefer the cent as it's easier to work with.
The BEST feature on this thing is that it doubles as an AC supply/daisy
chain. So when I built my pedal board, I've only got 2 AC adaptors hooked
up to it! Very clean and very easily managed.
It also comes in handy at live shows as a mute switch. So when you tune, it
will kill the signal for silent tuning. Or when you switch basses, it'll
kill the sound so that the sound man doesn't have to deal with crackles and
pops coming through the PA.
