EMail : athanathios@yahoo.com Having played bass for a fair while I have tried many pieces of equipment. Including many kinds of Dean Markley, D'Addario, Ken Smith, Spector, GHS and probibly other brands of strings I can't remember now. As soon as I put them on I noticed that I had found what was missing in my sound, the strings. They are funky as hell, deep in their tonal feel, with a bright but not bothersomely bright sound some strings have. They are great for many types of playing and I recomend them for blues to funk to metal. A problem I had with my usual brand, Ken Smith, was that they like my previous "usual brands" they went out of tune even on my Spector. But as soon as I put them on and tuned up I didn't have to tune up for a couple of days and even then only a step or so.
