This may put an end for my quest for tone. It is one of the cleanest sound
amps I have ever used. The only amp that is cleaner that I have used is an
Eden. It is also the loudest amp I have ever played through bar none!!! When
used with my Peavey 210 and Carvin 18 I put my gain and master volume on 3
and i smoke everybody. Both of my guitarists have 100 watt half stacks so
that should tell you something. The compressor is awesome, it's very musical
and it makes your sound tight and punch not squashed. There is a compressor for
the low end and a seperate compressor for the high end (very useful!). I don't
use the overdrive channel so I can't really comment about that. I only have
two complaints about this amp I wish it had crossover and it doesn't have
a handle to carry it so you really need to rack mount it. Overall a thumbs
up.
