Okay, you've already bought a couple of basses and your'e looking again to satisfy that quench of thirst for another...you've got G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome) and your'e probable waning between a Ric, a Carvin, and Ernie! Well, let me just say that I've been there and done that...and that I have all three on top of a Ibanez BTB400QM and a Peavey Fury IV. I know what you must be thinking! This dude is either seriously whacked, unsatifiable, a regular Jethro Clampett! Hah! My friend, the are prerequsites if you are serious about Ernie. You have to love slappin', love funkin', and love pure bassin'. Yep, Ernie is all about that. It's about having your buds and babes over and jammin' and having that low down thump that calls out in the night to the moon, the critters, and curious neighbors wishin they were there too! I play mine through a Ampeg SVT-3 Pro and a (hang on let me check-ow, I ran over my toe lookin-) Zoom 708-II effects pedal. Hey I'm not here as a salesman-I'm here to tell you that if you break down and finally buy Ernie, you'll too finally get that thump and sound you've been seeking. I won't spend any more time pleading...just do it and write your review (and give it a few months a least so you too can relate some great times in between). Anyway, let us know what you did and what happened since...
