This is an American-made high quality bass with a 35" scale and active electronics. It it well balanced, and the body allows the arm to rest comfortably with the hand in perfect playing position. It is a fine looking instrument and promises durability with the neck through design. The battery gate is held in place by two screws (why are they not all quick release??) but the batteries don't go down quickly, so that's not a big deal. The guys on the board say it has a "fat" sound with plenty of presence for both finger pick and slap technique.
