This is the only bass guitar i own. i bought it a few years ago and till this day i have no regrets buying it. Since this is the only bass i have i spend alot of time on it, got to know it very well. for what it's woth i can say, you can't buy a better japanese bass guitar in my opinion. The feel of the fingerboard is like all yamaha's have, tight feel and soft pressure and if you have a good adjustment like low action you can do allmost everything like fingerstyle, slapping and tapping. The sound is also very versatile, cos of the 3 band EQ. When i put new strings on i usealy turn the trebble knob half way out otherwise you have too much high in it. The fingerboard is also delicate finished with oval inlay and it goes all the way up to the 24th fret. The part i don't like about this bass guitar is the due to the battery, i've had some real nasty moments that i run out of battery juice when i just did'nt needed it.
