WOAH! This has got to be the LOUDEST bass I've ever played! The Pickup in this bass is very, very, hot! I had to lower it quite a bit, it was overdriving my 15 inch speaker. Once I set it up and adjusted the pup and intonation, it was cherry! I put D'Addario Chromes on it and had to give the rod 3/4ths of a turn. The action is super low with no buzzes! This bass is a bottom dweller. It's old school 70's rock and motown. It will be good for old jazz but not hi-fi sheen modern jazz. The two saddle bridge is not much harder to adjust than a four saddle. This is a low end MONSTER! Not a do it all bass. If strung with roundwounds it would be more versatile, but with flats it's definitly old school. The is nothing but an old Fender with the Squire logo on it. The bridge saddles are solid brass! Nice resonation and better than cheap chrome. If you want a good old school P-Bass sound this is your bass. Save some Fazools and grab this for $249.00 to $279.00.
