I purchased a jay turser mm bass copy and decided to go with the duncan
basslines setup just to see how close i could get in tone to a real musicman
bass. I'm happy to say I've accomplished that if not surpassed. The
pickup/preamp combination is about as warm as you could ask. I wired it in
series for the big bottom and it's excellent. The clarity is amazing. I
put this setup which cost together (bass/pickup/preamp combo) for about $500
dollars up against real Musicman basses and I've never lost a shootout yet,
it was a bit of a pain to install but the tone and response was amazing.
Seymour Duncan nailed it on this setup you won't be sorry.
