A beautiful sleek instrument with a lightning fast neck that plays beautifully but sadly falls completely flat tonally for me ,even with an active bart m j system .Mike Spalt would do well to recast all the aluminum body parts in graphite ,the bass sounds like a flagpole with bass strings on it,awefull overtones that block any clean notes .....but possibly one of the coolest looking basses ever made though not worth the price with that sound
