Otherreally tough exterior coating, reminds me of spray on truck bedliner, great side handles and a "kick-stand" underneath.
This cabinet is a powerhouse for the money, if you play small to medium sized gigs, and need audiophile quality reproduction(or if your like me and just want to sound great!!) this cabinet is worth a look. I went to a five string shortly before purchasing this cab, it will faithfully reproduce the lows of a B string. I also have an Ampeg 4x10 classic, this little single 12 hits just as hard as four 10's! I know it sounds crazy but it's true. I get deeper truer lows from this 1x12 than my other, much larger, 4x10. I can't explain it other than great design and porting. The exterior is built for abuse, the spray-on truck bedliner coating is great, no scratches to worry about, and the grille is expanded metal, no cone damage worries! The ergonomics also rate very well, it has built in side handles for easy carrying and a kick-back handle on the bottom to tilt the cab up slightly. I use the matching head with it and it is clean, clear tone. I can dial up slap tones, I can get a thick, meaty, finger tones. The cab also has an attenuation knob on the back, along with neutrik speak-ons and 1/4 inch inputs. I bought it from Bass Central, Basscentral.com they treat you right, and get you what you need.
construction (100%)
built a brick outhouse, tough and durable.
clarity (98%)
the tones are crisp and well defined.
volume (75%)
It's only a single 12", but it will get over a loud drum kit.
portability (95%)
it's not much bigger than a 12" stage monitor.
value (85%)
it's a bit pricey for a single 12" but it's game is clarity and accurate reproduction.
overall (95%)
It's great for what I do.
