excellent if you have a passive bass, not so great if you have an active bass, but not bad at all. sweet tone, i play through a warwick 2x10 cab, certainly very bassy. low boost is just about right, eq is more than adequate. chrome controls are a pleasure to use. the only downside is that it will clip fairly easily if you turn up the bass, particularly if using an active bass. but this is nothing out of the ordinary. is it loud? hell yes! but im only operating at 8 ohms. i plan to rig up another cab, prob a 1x15 inch, so i dont have to turn up the gain so that it almost clips to get the max volume. oh, its also got a switchable limiter and little gain status clip/ok/low l.e.d's. and its built tough.
construction (95%)
would be 100%, but the volume pot is a bit scratchy
clarity (98%)
not good at low volumes, but what do you expect?
versatility (100%)
volume (95%)
needs to be run at 4 ohms to really shine
value (100%)
the price is right!
overall (95%)
it even looks cool.
