I replaced a bulky little Hafler P4000 (34 lbs.) and downsized(?) to something more compact(from a six space road case to a four) and road-worthy. In a nutshell, the unit has great top to bottom performance and gobs of clean, useable power. Build quality is excellent, rear mounted fan, great styling. A lot of R&D was obviously put into the design and features of this amp. Extra large capacitors in the power supply are claimed to deal with low end performance, they do. It also looks fab in a road case (the face of the unit is aluminum, not plastic). I've had no reliability issues with it at all so far, but I've been told that Crest Audio has an excellent customer service record which is always a good thing, and was a big deciding factor in my case. At the moment I'm only using one channel into an 8 ohm Eden D410T, new cabs are in my future and no doubt the Crest will easily be up to the task.
