I have wanted a Walter Woods amp for a long time and eventually found one. It is the loudest 100watt amp I have ever used bar none. It is clean, does not colour the sound of your bass, (Aerodyne Jazz )and does not break your back carrying it. I use a shoulder bag from Ikea with a bubblewrap inner sleeve. I have used SWR, G & K, EA, Markbass, Acoustic, Ampeg, etc., etc.,and as good as they indeed are, Walter Woods is the man. I am currently using a Markbass Traveler 1 x 15" cabinet along with an Epifani UL 1 x 10" cabinet which is a very flexible rig. Rehearsals can be taken care of by the Epifani (250w and 22lbs weight) and gigs by the pair which fit in the back of my Smart ForFour Brabus hatchback. Luxury. It is worth whatever price you may pay for one - you won't sell it.
