I used to be a hard-core Rotosound user, for 15 years. I recently purchased
two extended length six strings from Carvin (best deal in the industry) and
was having trouble finding properly sized strings. My search led me to the
Fodera web-site, and there, before my eyes was the length and gauge I was
looking for. So I bought a set and was thrilled with the sound (not to
mention the excellent customer service and price). Then, last week, I
wanted to try de-tuning my four string to C F Bb Eb, so I put a 118 gauge
Five string sets B E A D but wasn't happy with the oversized top string. I
went right to the Fodera website, and they had a 110-45 set that I bought.
I am so pleased with the Fodera product(s) that I would encourage all my
fellow low-enders to try a set.
