I spent many nights thinking about if I should by a Sadowsky or not. Many of
my favourite bass players and bands (AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Metallica) play
Sadowskys and as my band is mainly covering songs of them, we all are
looking for the best tone possible. When I first played a Sadowsky at a
local music store over here in Germany it waas as if I had been hit by 1000
Pounds of energy. I was suprised how great the neck feels, how loud it is,
even without any amp.
So I decided to order one from the U.S. I decided to take a 24-Fret 5 String
because it has all opportunitys a player can want. I also wanted a superb
finish and orderd transparent `59 Sunburst because it looks really great
especially on stage with all the lights and stuff.
And now, 6 Months later, I recieved the greatest instrument on the planet.
It sounds perfect with the preamp that I already own for three years. Even
small amps (for example me 15W Peavey Amp) make it sound absolutely great.
Its perfect for playing solos beyond the 15th fret on the G-String, but also
perfect on the first three frets !
All in all, I can say that IŽll never need another bass!
