**Few usable factory presets--why do multi effect manufacturers try do dazzle us with over the top, overdone, and hyperbolized (is that a word?)presets.
**Compressor is limited, though at times sounds acceptable.
**Distortion sounds are awful for bass. Even with many tweaking attempts the sounds are brash and solid state.
**No built in tuner or expression/wah pedal
**Bypass is dreadful-- It renders your clean sound into a useless, pale, thin comparison of its original self. Also leaves a ghosting background sound of the effect patch you are bypassing.
**There was much unEase of use on stage the few times I gigged out with the BCC. The stomp dots (they sure aren't pedals) are easily misfired or untriggered without precise toe pointing. The layout is just plain confusing for "on the fly" playing.
Pluses: **Great steel contruction while maintaining low profile and light weight. **Good Manual despite subpar product. **Chorus and Flange are exceptable with some futzing of the digital parameters. **Digital Delay o.k. **If you're handy in the digital domain the BBC supports plenty of tweezing oppurtunity. There are plenty of parameters to jog your way through.
I just dug this this unit up from basement--it has about 3yrs of dust on it. I wanted to warn any potential buyers on the used market that I would not recommend this unit. I can't even bring myself to resell it to the unsuspecting.
