I've only owned this cab. for 3 days, and I can tell you already, pound
for pound, it is better than anything I have ever played through in my
life. I knew instantly when I plugged into it, that it was going to kick
ass. I took it to practice last night, and it was everything I was hoping
for. The lows were incredible, the low mids were tight, just like you want
them. I bought the 4 ohm version because I heard they are a bit power
hungry. I use a powerbase 1 (225watt stereo, 450 watt bridged mono), and a
Trace Elliot tube preamplifier. I bridged it mono at practice just to give
it full juice, and I had no problem at all. I only turned up my output
level to '2'. It's just a small house (I was shaking the walls by
the way), so it was no problem filling up the room. However, it's nice
to know I've got some room to play when things open up. I can tell
already, this baby is going to do the trick in a bigger room. Bassist to
bassist, you have to get one these cabs.. Built like a tank, looks cool,
only 50lbs, sounds great. Somebody wake me up, I must be dreaming.
Let's buy stock in Andy's company!
