Bought this amp new in 1971. Compared to the Peavey out at the time, this amp smoked it in volume and tone. It came with a lifetime warranty, but Acoustic is gone now. One feature is the speaker cabinet is powered so you could hook up to 4 cabinets with the preamp. I saw Larry Graham at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco with 4 bottoms and it was the first time I ever heard bass outdoors the way its supposed to sound. Jaco used one also. I have hauled this amp all over and it has been very dependable. Only time I had to take it in for warranty repair, I had left it at our rehearsal storage container and because it was air tight, dampness formed over night and when

I fired it up at the next rehearsal it fried. Had it back 2 days later. Just got a 5 string bass and the 18" speaker loves it. I have a smaller setup for clubs, but if you play large venues this amp is perfect.
