Classic kickass amp. I use it with my Gibson SB350 bass and an Acoustic bottom with 4x12s. Great volume. Real versatile sound with EQ. and other controls whether you slappin, pickin, or fingerin it, playin jazz, funk, smooth, soft, or hard rock. Sustain is excellant. I use it for club gigs and have no need to go beyond 1/2 vol. Solid state contruction is indestructable. This amp has been hammered, but looks great for 25+yr old amp and has only been serviced twice. As for a guitar amp? This bad boy screams! I've used a lot of amps solid state and tubed, this one really gets the message acrossed loud and clear!
