18 volt system. Built to last construction. I bought this to replace my Barcus Berry buffer/preamp that came with the B/B piezio pick-up I bought. Works like a dream, only complaint is a slight hiss when it's cranked all the way up. Simply adding a DI box between the preamp and amp fixed this right up. I would highly reccommend Aguilar Products to everybody. Expensive but worth it. You will hear this again and again.
