Aguilar makes great products. Professional products. In my opinion no amp, and I mean no amp beats this. I've tried out an all-tube SVT, and I was like "ok... whats the big deal?" NOT THE CASE WITH THE AGUILAR DB 359. This thing is so amazing. I previously owned a SansAmp Bass DI and got rid of it. It Was a tube emulator and sounded nice, but I just didn't need it. I didn't want to pass my signal through to many EQ's, and the DB 359 gave you all that fat, warm tube sound. NO need for a tube emulator. The sound was so subtle, I just sold the thing to guitar center for $50 bucks.
Now let me try to describe this things sound. Fat, Warm, Round, Buffered, Buttery, Beefy, Smooth, Milky, Chunky............ Chunky Beefy Milk?!?!?!?! Well this amp sound like that. Chunky Beefy Milk..... trust me. Get it, it WILL be the last amp you ever buy.....
