One word. Incredible! I\'d loved the Aggie sound for years and heard
nothing but great reviews about durability and customer service but I
wasn\'t prepared for the experience of plugging in a Jazz bass to this
thing at a gig. I was very close to going with a db680 pre and a solid
state amp (mackie 1400) but thanks to the feedback on sites like this I
took the plunge on the 750 without a test run and am very satisfied. How
could I not, you ask, at $1500. Well, that had a lot to do with it. I got
lucky finding a dealer who had one that was purchased before the price
hike so...no brainer. Soon as I had the amp out of the store it was worth
more than I paid for it. I knew it would be good but I was FLOORED!
Absolutely disgusting amount of clean power. I\'m running one Eden 4X10
@ 4 ohms and it\'s ridiculous. Tone is exactly what has been said in
prior reviews. Very warm but a great quickness to the attack that all tube
amps don\'t have. This amp is a great balance for someone who wants
warmth for fat full bottom but needs some clarity for flash/funk. I was
fortunate to have some great input from prior BGRA reviewers before my
purchase so I\'m happy to get into specifics with anyone looking to buy.
