This is a very nice piece of equipment, I have been very happy with it
overall.
The construction is very good, It's all metal, with two metal switches,
and 4 hard plastic knobs. Probably built as well or better than a boss
pedal. The Sound of the thing is beutiful in my opinion. It has some
nasty growls and some techno sounds. I only use maybe 4 of the sounds, but
name many other pedals that even give you that many (besides maybe line 6).
Useability: This is where the review may drop some. Really know if you
are gonna use this pedal, and don't buy one otherwise...Nothing against
this pedal, but synth can't be used in all situations. Value: Good value,
a little high priced but it does come with an adapter, also what other bass
synths are cheap...there aren't any that I know of (Boss, EH). Customer
Service: no idea, but I'd rather them take the boss theory, build it well
enough so you don't have to call. Overall, we have a great sounding, well
built pedal made by a company who knows keyboard-like sounds.
Now on how it works:
Its got 9 preset sounds that you can alter in many ways:
Level, attack, decay, dynamics, cutoff, resonance, balance, level.
You go in an alter the sounds until it something you like and it pretty
much remembers it automatically. Pretty cool. There is an up button on it
and and on/off switch. So you can only go up through the nine settings,
but you can hook up an outside pedal (which I have) to go down through the
settings. Another cool thing is say you like settings 1, 4, 5, & 9; you
can program the pedal to put those settings in a row and even duplicate
those and not have the other five. (you can set it back to factory settings
very easily)
