This is super sweet function. I Like simple controlls
and with the "q"controll I can easily mold my sound.

I love the handmade qualities, especially the gold connections in the electronics area. Talk about a quiet ride! The ebony fingerboard adds to the instrumente sweet sustain and to the hard punch of a slap. The downside is that the neck thru design means lots of neck adjustments, so if you are no pro this can cost some extra funds to keep happening. Bottom line is that Alembic is a superior manufacturer and their elan model is the cream of the crop! A superior instrument for soloing and for funking. You wont find and dead spots or out of aligned fretmarkers on this bass.
