This bass is most certainly the finest instrument I have ever played
or owned. It has a custom headstock of 3+2 instead of the usual 4+1
offered on this model. Similar to the reviewer of the 6-string,
everything is perfect on this instrument. 14K gold stuff, but never
gawdy.
It plays very evenly, and acoustically is very pure. the E-flat on
the G-string has as much sustain as any other note on the instrument.
Those who have not tried an Alembic owe it to themselves to go and sit
down with one for a couple of hours. It may change your life.
