Very playable, sounds full and rich with exceptional high end detail too. Notes have a lot of snap and midrange punch. My only problem was with the neck. It kept backbowing and Alembic graciously adjusted it twice (now it's fine).
Construction is excellent, intonation is good overall but I notice some warbling when playing root + 10ths past the 16 fret or so. Electronics are good too. Big fat heel and steep headstock angle provide good tension and sustain. The B sounds nearly as good as my 35" scale fiver, and this is a 34" scale!
