I love this amp. I had an ampeg svt 150 running through an ampeg 806he cabinet. While the sound was good, it certainly lacked a solid bottom. The b100r took care of that.
Like: 1) the classic look-- blue tolex rocks (and the blue power light!); 2) the sound-- with the EQ and the zoom 506 I can pretty much get the sound I want, from funky to classic overdrive; 3) the power-- I know I marked it down here but it pumps it out. I play in a five piece rock band and can cut through two guitars, keys and drums setting the volume at a bit more than half. This is one solid, kick-ass amp.
Dislike: The only thing I could come up with here was size-- it's heavy. But you expect that in a combo with this kind of power.
Would I buy another one? You bet. People are usually impressed with the sound it puts out. Now if I could just find a portaflex for about the same price..
