A friend who works at a music store recommended this amp. It is a monster of low end. I use it through two Ampeg cabinets 1-18" and a 4-8" cabinet. I've only had the amp for a couple of weeks, so I'm still tweeking the sound. However, for bottom end, this unit really delivers and I recommend it without hesitation.

*editor's note -- another user sends along this info :

"the Ampeg B2 amp review has several errors unless they are talking about a old model. I just got one and here are some of the corrected stats:

Power Rating: 200W RMS @ 8 Ohms, 350W RMS @ 4 Ohms EQ: 3 band "main" EQ + switchable 9 band graphic EQ Misc: no "DBX" but does have XLR DI switchable between line/mic level and pre/post EQ, pre-amp out and power amp in, effects loop."
