This is a great little amp! I wanted something easy to move/carry up and down stairs with real bass sound and decent volume. I got it big time.
The 5 position style switch allows quite a range of tones. More than anything else ive come across. Though only 100 watts its quite loud. More than others ive tried with higher ratings.
Its solid state but has a suprisingly warm tone. Not in the same league as my all tube head but still nice. I like the #2 tone position best. The other controls give a good range of options/tone shaping as well. The sound from the 15 is nice and full and deep and surprisingly articulate if you dont go overboard on the bass control. Positions 4+5 give a nice throaty sound very simmilar to their B-100 Rocket amp.
Its solidly built with metal corners and a recessed area with a velcro strap to hide/protect the cord in. Its rear ported and has the tilt back feature which is nice. Theres also a headphone jack, balanced line out and CD input as well as passive+active bass inputs.
My only real complaint is i wish it had a control for the tweeter vol. It hisses some but not too bad. Also an ext speaker jack for added versatility and perhaps a bit more power (what else is new) would be nice. I would also prefer a nice leather handle as on their Rocket combo. More comfortable, better looking than the plastic thing. Overall a great amp i highly recomend.
