Have had this great little amp for about 20 yrs. Bought it from the original owner who's parents bought it for him " about the same year the Beatles came out but I never learned to play". As a result this amp spent it's first 15 or so years of existance in a closet. Am still using what appears to be the original tubes. Although this is not my main rig, I have used it for everything from rehersal to out-door gigs where accessability to the stage was a problem (obviously in conjunction with a sound system). One quirk is the clips and pegs that hold down the flip-top must be tight as there is no patch cord from amp to speaker and these hold-downs conduct signal from amp to speaker. This amp is certainly no SVT but pound for pound I'd put it up against any tube amp out there. Tom G
