All in all, "as an add on" this will give you that funk, rock, jazz, and death metal sound your looking for!!!!!!!
With it's 2 channels it's pretty versatile in which you can go with either channel. Or you can combine both channels which i did to get great sounds!
But as a stand alone, you really will lack clean tone shaping! Even if you combine the both, which does sound better from the lack of one to the other.
It lasted me for a while, just sat in my rack mount. So as for durability, buy SKB!
