I bought this cabinet to use with my V-4 bass head as an
alternative to purchasing a separate combo unit. Although
somewhat heavy at 70 lbs, it fits nicely the trunk of my car
without having to tie the lid down. Soundwise, the 2 tens
provide plenty of focus and definition in the midrange, while
the high frequency horn can be adjusted to a level that will
cut thru most any sound mix at low to mid volume. The bass
reflex cabinet design likewise produces a full, rich bottom end.
Overall, the response I get from this cabinet is smooth and even
throughout the entire frequency range of a 4 string bass.( 5 and
6 stringers might consider a 4x10 cab ). The 210 Pro may not be
the loudest 2x10 cabinet around, but for my needs, it works great.
I play in a 23 piece concert jazz group complete with electric
guitar, drums and keyboards. This enclosure has plenty of volume
for this situation, and if I ever need to rattle buildings, I just
piggyback it onto my 1x18 cabinet. Then the sound is awesome.
