Manufacturer Ampeg
Model SVT-IIP
Price AUD$500
Item owned for 6 months to 1 year

Dimensions 1 rack space
Weight Not too heavy (7 lbs. according to the manual - MW)
EQ Bass, mid, mid switch, treble + 7 band eq (footswitchable)
Other No effects loop, balanced/unbalanced outputs, optional footswitch

This is the earlier model of Ampeg's current SVP-Pro. Like the new model, it's supposed to sound like, and does a good job, of the 'classic' Ampeg SVT tone.

Basically it's the new model without the bells and whistles. Don't care for an effects loop, tuner out, mute etc...? The tone is there (most important IMO), and you aren't missing out on something if you were to go for a more expensive newer unit.

Stick it in your rack, have fun, buy some flashing lights gear to make up for the not-very shiny face plate etc...

Basically, you get the tone without the bells and whistles.
