This cab is is the sh*t for rock n roll. I previously used a SWR Bigfoot 2X12 cab, but after about 300 gigs, rehearsals, roadtrips, etc. it just started to peter out. Anyway, I was looking for something to push more air. My band has 2 Les Pauls that I have to compete with. I tried many different kinds of cabs with different speaker types and this one just hit the spot. It has it all: lows, highs, mids, and certain midrange "bark" that no other cab had. And it moves a hell of alot of air. Since getting this thing, our soundman is in miked cabinet Nirvana. Our roadies say, "it sounds like a 12 inch.. you know what (ryhmes with sock)!" What better compliment to a bass player! I no longer fear a Les Paul Mesa-Boogie, Marshall death. I can get any sound I want, and it always comes through. I`ve used it for at least 20 4 set gigs and it just keeps on pumpin`. I considered a 8X10 cabinet but didn`t feel it was worth the extra money and weight. Plus a 6X10 fits right in my Jeep Cherokee. Another interesting thing I`ve noticed is that since the cabinet is higher off the ground, I can hear without having to turn up every 5 minutes. All in all, the thing rocks.
