This one has no definition in Low-End when used with a Funk-EQ-Setting! When turned flat, it is a solid rock-music-box which makes every bass sound like a Precision. It's not possible to hear the VERY nice tube-growl produced by the Ashdown-ABM-Amps (which I love). The Cab looks great-vintage. It is VERY heavy, about 40 and a few kilos, -which isn't very good in combination with the centered carrying-handles. It is tending head-wards and tried to kill my hands every gig. No grill, just cloth for speaker-protection isn't too good as well. I bought it after I used an OLD Peavey TNT100-Combo for 5 years, and in comparison the Ashdown is OK, but for me as a funk-bass-player it's worthless! I recently switched to a Glockenklang-cab, and, -wow- there it is: the sound! Hartke did it well too.

Construction 85%
(bad speaker protection)
Clarity 50%
(muddy when sound goes funky )
Volume 75%
(not loud enough to compete with 2 keys, guit, and loud drums)
Portability 25%
(it's no 8x10, it's god bad placed handles)
Value 25%
(buy something else)
Overall 50%
(I don't like this one!)
