I LOVE this bass... it was new/old stock at a music store near Detroit, and I can't say enough about it... not too heavy, great mix of rock sounds with the Dimarzio P/J combo, and the neck is great - setup was immaculate and intonation perfect. A bit wide at the nut (compared to my Jazz-style basses), but perfect front-to-back. It has a Badass II bridge and Grover mini-tuners. And the finish! - it is a beautiful instrument. I'm not sure how these newer BC Richs' stack up with the old ones quality-wise, but I can tell you that this particular instrument is something else. I believe list on this about $1800 U.S., and I feel it is a good quality handmade instrument and it worth over a grand. It plays like a dream.
