Studio monitor flat, none of that "built in" eq like some cabs have
(SWR, Eden, ect) With my amp set flat it might not have the low end as
others, but by far the most accurate sounding cab I ever
owned/played. I've owned SWR, Trace, Hartke and Bag End crushes them
all. I have the 12 inch deep cab. They do make one that is 18 inches
that has more low end, but I still have yet to have a complaint (never
heard the 18" cab). I a/b this cab with Eden & SWR and it was the
cleanist, smoothist one of the bunch (not to say that SWR & Eden don't
sound great, they do, I just thought Bag End sounded better). As far
as price Bag End is a lot more expensive $900 list (the shop where I
bought mine was blowing them out for cost, they're not carrying them
anymore) , allmost as much as most upper end 4x10's But worth every
penny. It is a heavy little cab (13 ply birch) 67lbs (I think) but
not unbearable and I noticed that I set my amp louder than I used to
for the same vol. but the cab is ultra clean. I don't think I could
distort it if I wanted to!
