so far it is a good little bass, I am mostly a guitar player with just the need to put some bass down on recordings, but this bass has had me pretty well unable to put it down for a few weeks... with 15 other guitars vying for my time, that's quite a feat! it's a got a comfortable body (like the mid 80's ibanez SB basses) and is actually pretty quiet (althouh I AM going to add EMG's to it) a great bass at a pretty good price... and it plays really well...
I was not familiar with Bass collections al that much... if anyone else out there has one, email me at axe@webgate.net and we can compare notes...
oh yeah, and I just got a killer deal on a Samick artist 5 string active with an ebony fingerboard... the kid at the hock store didn;t know the difference in 4 vs. 5 string, and did not know what an active bass was! SUCKER!
