Having played my first B.C. Rich in the late seventies,(and falling in love with it)I can say this bass has lived up to all my expectations. While this bass does not have the thinnest neck of bass guitars(slightly wider than my J-bass),the neck is very fast due to the finish. The tone possibilities cover everything I have ever played. The p-bass pick-up covers all the lows and the humbucker gives great Ric sounds. one thing I find amazing is the stability of the neck. Of the 6 basses I have owned in 25 year, this one has perfect intonation. I can pick it up and put it down for weeks without it going out of tune. Now for the dislike. this thing weighs a ton. I have never weighed it but it feels like a tree hanging around your neck after a couple hours. The price of a new B.C. Rich Mockingbird (Eagles aren't made anymore) similar to this is over $1500. 12 years ago when I bought this, it was a good price. See if you can find one at a guitar show.
