I ordered this cab off the internet after playing (and being blown away by) a Bergantino 2x12 (no longer made). I needed something smaller and more portable than the 2x12, and after talking with Jim Bergantino by email (super helpful), I decided on the HT112. This little box delivers an incredible range with warm, full, articulate tones. This speaker handles the low B with more clarity and warmth than my SWR 15, which tends to get muddy and sloppy that low. The mid are smooth and natural and high end is very clear, without being clicky and hissy like a lot of tweeters I have heard (I run the tweeter knob at the back of the cab around 11 o'clock). I am powering the cab with a 575 watt Ashdown bass head, which needs very little eq for good tones. I play in a church group, and all types of jazz groups, so versatility is fairly important to me. Because of its natural tones, the bergy sounds great with everything from acoustic guitars to big band setups. My favorite thing about this cab is that it sounds (tonally) like it is being played at high volume at low volumes. The notes don't drop off in sustain or clarity at lower frequencies like they do on a lot of other high wattage cabs I have heard at low volume. This makes it both a perfect small room practice/jamming amp and a perfect performance amp (I have played with a 17 piece big band and easily cut through the mix). You can't go wrong with this cab.
