I am very happy with this kit. It went together VERY well. I ordered the kit with the active bass module and strings through body option. I would recommend spilling the extra $60.00 for the module, The difference is night and day. In the passive mode, It sounds a little tinny.
The neck is alot flatter than P & J basses and is very fast. It took some minor truss-rod adjustment once the .100 gauge (supplied with kit) strings were installed. But that has been it neckwise. Had to raise the strings a little. Hipshot bridge is beefy. It plays like a guitar and has sustain for days.
