If you want a great amplifier that is built to last...DON'T buy this one! In 8 short months I went through 5 of these amplifiers. None of them were abused or pushed even close to its limits. 2 of the amps always cut out. 2 of them were damaged in shipping and 1 of them went up in smoke at a gig. Carvin did absolutely nothing to compensate me for my troubles. Not even an apology. In 8 months the amp was shipped back and forth to California for a total of 12 weeks (UPS Ground). 3 out of my 8 months waiting for my amp only to have it break again. When it worked it sounded great but as for Carvin, I have no use for them. They never would expedite a new one to me so I played out of my 14 year old Peavey (That I never had a provlem with). I am lucky to at least have a back up amp because Carvin did not give a crap about my situation or my disappointment. I bought an SWR and I am very happy. If you choose to buy this Carvin...GOOD LUCK. I sincerely hope you have better luck than I did. Unless you live in California and can run back and forth to their stores be aware that it is expensive and a pain to ship back this 80 pound heap. The music circle is small, I do not understand how Carvin can treat its customers this way. No one I know will ever buy Carvin after knowing what I went through!
