A+++ for tone! This bass has LOW END! I tried it out against basses twice it's price but they all fell short. The Warwicks buzzed, the Music men didn't have the boom, and the Fenders
didn't have the sonic range. But this bad boy made me slobber.
The bass boost gave me the sound I was looking for. I haven't heard it's match in a four string. The neck is fast and beautiful. Though you might have to mess with the action at first. Bass Player magazine reviwed this bass and weren't very enthusiastic but I don't agree at all. This baby is a prize.
My only gripe is that it isn't much of a slapper. If that's your thing... look somewhere else. The notes don't explode at you like they do on other basses (ex: Music man)but once again the pizz sound is euphoric! Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed!
