This is by far,the best 6 string bass I've ever played for less than $600. It is solidly constructed and plays almost like butter, the neck is truly fast

and the Ebonol Fingerboard gives the Bass a very snappy sound wich is great for slapping. I play it without using any EQ in the Amp, you wont need to, as it sounds pretty good.

It comes with Mighty Mite Electronics, and a Bartolini Pickup. The EQ pots have very nice tone shaping capabilities, making this bass very versatile and it has a Slap Countour switch wich boosts the Bass and Cuts the mids. (This is adjustable trough rear trim pots in the control cavity)

People often say Luthite sounds muddy and smells like naftaline. Well, In this case it is not.It sounds punchy and Hi-fi, but I did notice that smell when I opened the control cavity. Anyway, if you are not doing that... The bass wont smell at all.

This bass is very confortable to play standing but not too much when sitting, since the lower horn is very small, and you will fell like its falling.

Action can be set very low. Mine came with exellenty leveled frets and the neck is straight as an arrow, this contributes to the excellent playability. Dont expect to find much information about this bass. The Cort Web Page does not even list it. www.marsmusic.com has it for $600 and www.planetbass.com can get ones too.
