Bought this bass new for $350 new with hard case (rare) in 1983. I
immediately liked its playability, weight, and balance. The original
pickups were pretty weak, so I replaced them with Bartolinis. This
bass has incredible sustain, and I believe because the body is wood
not composite material, the tone is much warmer. It cuts real well
at gigs. If your tired of lugging that 12lb. monster, this is a great
alternative.
